Hatim is Ksapa’s Programs Director. He is responsible for strategic design and operational deployment of the SUTTI programme worldwide.For the past 15 years, he has been intent on on strengthening the capacity of local development actors to achieve impact at scale. Before Ksapa, he worked with Livelihoods Venture, an impact investment fund supported by multinational corporations (such as Danone and Mars Inc). It allowed him to reconnect large groups of vulnerable smallholders with a secure and profitable market.Structuring resilient supply chains through innovative agronomic models and social structuration enabled him to increase the net revenue of farmers while improving the quality and traceability of targeted commodities such as vanilla, coconut or rice. Hatim has a deep knowledge of the challenges in producing key food and cash crops in tropical areas. All in all, he has taken an active part in investing more than 15M€ in agricultural projects targeting more than 100,000 farmers in Madagascar, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.Hatim speaks French, English, Spanish, Bahasa Indonesian and Hindi, with a sound knowledge of Singhalese. He holds a Master Degree in Comparative agricultural system (Agro Paristech) and a Tropical Agriculture Master degree from Montpellier School of Agronomy.
